Tried out everything on the glossy shelves and still not satisfied with how you look? If you are always pinning for that perfect skin and have already tried out a host of products, maybe it’s time to go a little natural and see the effects. Homemade Beauty Tipsto get the perfect skin and look are preferred over a long run, they are not as difficult as they may sound, and more often than not, the solutions may be hiding in your very own kitchen!

Break a raw coconut and grate it to squeeze out the milk. Now wash your face with water and apply this over your face and lips for an instantly clean and glowing look.

Honey and Ginger:

Ginger has many active ingredients that works wonders towards removing free radicals from the body and preventing skin damage. Soak ginger in 200 to 300ml of water for 5 to 10 mins. And then add honey to it. You can now drink it like its nothing but tea!

Rest and Sleep:

Ground ginger and make a paste of it by mixing honey. Apply this over your face the first thing after waking up, even before you brush your teeth. This paste is a great way of preventing wrinkles and keeping them at bay.

Strawberry Face Mask:

You may be ignoring this one, trying to pack in as much action in the day as you can and heading out for partying at night. But ladies, the amount of sleep you get or don’t get plays a very big role in how your skin looks. If you are suffering from dark circles, uneven skin tone or a dull skin, these are sure signs of lack of sleep. Try and get at least 7 hours of sleep. This is not only important to give your skin a naturally healthy and glowing look, but will also keep the wrinkles away.

Aloe Vera Juice For Sun Tan:

Strawberries contain salicylic acid and that’s what makes them great for your skin, especially if you have any acne problems and scars. Get 1/4th cup of freshly mashed strawberries and mix in the juice of 1 small lemon (lemons are great to provide exfoliation and lighten up the skin). To this, pour 2 tbsp honey (which is a great moisturiser) and add 1/4th cup of yoghurt. Stir well to make a smooth paste. Apply this over your face and wait till dry, then wash off with water.

Take some fresh aloe vera juice and store it in your freezer to form aloe vera cubes. Each time you come back home, take out a cube and rub it across your face to remove all signs of tan.

Aloe Vera For Dry Skin:

Aloe Vera is the best thing ever for dry skin! All you need are some almonds and aloe vera gel to forget about dry skin troubles. Grind up a few almonds and add it aloe vera gel. Apply this to your face and neck. Let it be for 15 to 20 mins and then wash it off. Your skin will be as good as new!

Urad Dal and Almonds:

People with dry skin are more likely to get wrinkles earlier than those with oily skin. Also, if you have excessive dry skin, you may occasionally suffer from flaky and skin peeling. Aloe vera gel is a great moisturiser to repair any dry and dead skin. This is not only great for your face, but also for the entire body. You can also add some coconut oil to it to add extra moisture.

Take a teaspoon of Urad dal and 4-5 almonds and soak them overnight. In the morning, grind the two ingredients into a fine paste. What you have is a great protein mask that will not only nourish but also enhance your complexion. Apply all over face and wash off after 20-30 minutes.

Unboiled Milk: Raw or unboiled milk is the best way to get soft and supple skin. All you need to do is apply it all over your face and skin for about 10 mins and then wash it off. Your skin will be as soft as a baby’s bottom!

Lemon Slices:Before you boil the milk, take a cotton pad, dip it in the milk and wipe your face with the cotton. You will instantly see how much dirt is cleaned away from your face. Unboiled milk is also great to remove any sun-burn, sun-tan or redness of the face.

Drink Water:

Take a slice of lemon and rub it along your elbows, knees and feet. This is a great way to lighten the hard skin around these areas and also make them softer and cleaner.

Water is one of the biggest sources of nutrients for your skin. While some say drinking 8 glasses of water is a must, others may still want to drink more, while some a little less. But no matter how much water you’re having, the best way to understand when your body needs a glass of water is the moment you feel thirsty. Drinking water will help maintain balance of your body fluids, flush out toxins, help control calories, energise your muscles, keep your skin looking and feeling good, is good for your kidneys and will help maintain a normal bowel movement, all of which is extremely crucial to achieve a healthy and beautiful skin.
